Featured Bean... Rwanda Kilimbi

After my Thailand get-away I was very keen to have a Melbourne breakfast accompanied by a great coffee. A came across a beautiful Rwandan and immediately got some beans for home. For me it had all the characteristics that a Rwandan is likely to portray and makes you go back for more. I hope you enjoy this weeks featured bean.

Region: Nyamasheke District, Rwamiko

Coffee Roaster: Proud Mary Coffee Roasters

Varietal: Red Bourbon

Altitude: 1450 to 1650 masl

Process: Washed

Brew Method: Hario V60

Tasting Notes: Orange, coconut, coffee blossom, honey nectar and plum.  


Star Rating: A very good coffee. Very high in flavour and sweetness, making you go back for many more cups. Aftertaste dissipates which brings it down a notch.
